We created two blocks of reserved rooms at two different hotels near the church. The hotels are within a half mile of each other, both near the highway. Because they are so close, guests may wish to stay at one hotel and visit at the other hotel:

15 Rooms at the The Westin … Perks: Indoor pool, Bar that is open until midnight, walking distance to Mexican food, King Sized beds ONLY. 6631 West Broad Street · Richmond, Virginia, 23230 15 beds (all 15 are single kings). $149 per night + tax. The 15 rooms are available at this rate until 12/25/15 at 5PM EST.

30 rooms at the Hampton Inn  Perks: Free breakfast, rooms with adjoining suites 5406 Glenside Drive, Richmond, Virginia, 23228 30 rooms (25 with two queens, 5 single kings). $109 per night + tax. The 30 rooms are available at this rate until 1/5/16.

This is what the Westin told us about making a reservation in this block of rooms:

Your guestrooms group block has been created, so overnight accommodations are now being accepted through our reservations center until Friday, December 25 at 5:00pm hotel time. Your guests can make reservations by calling 804.282.8444 anytime before the aforementioned deadline date and should ask for the Jensen – Schairbaum wedding block when speaking with any of our reservation agents. Richmond is at the intersection of I-95 and I-64. Be aware that traffic in the Washington DC area (100 miles north of Richmond) is really bad, especially on weekdays at rush hour.

TRAIN
